RCA (part of the Thomson group of companies - a $4.826 billion consumer electronics company) recently announced the forthcoming release of this 'revolutionary' product called the RCA Lyra RD2780 (See image below).
Incredibly, this leading edge product is nowhere to be found on the company's website!!! Presumably they _do_ want to sell it. I'm particularly annoyed because I actually really liked the product.
Compare their website to this one from Griffin Technology and let me know if you can spot some differences... Note that Griffin is not even a public company and I guesstimate that their sales are in the tens of millions as opposed to couple of billion that Thomson has.
